We recommend Fr Ron Rolheiser's website, www.ronrolheiser.com There is always something interesting, and he writes a new article each week. This is from the current week. I am a devotee of Fr Albert Nolan O.P. who teaches that there is no absoluteness in science, since Einstein we know we only work in relativities. Here Ron rolheiser is saying something similar.

This article was in the book review section of the New York Times, on Easter Sunday 2010. It is not so much a review of the book as an apologia for Jon Meacham's own faith. I don't know that I will ever get to read  the book, at 1100 pages it will take some concentration, but it would make a great reference book to have in a library. A knowledgeable friend, Fr Eric Hodgens once told me that we could replace theology with a study of scripture and a history of the Church. It is a history rich in ideas, and we can see that each age has its own interests and biases. What will the 21st century of Christianity be renowned for?
